Avalanche at Flyers odds, lines, picks and predictions
Prediction
Avalanche 4, Flyers 3
Money line
The prices here aren’t attractive at either end: PASS.
Against the spread
The lean here is small, based on decent pricing more than conviction in some value on Philadelphia, but consider a partial-unit play on PHILADELPHIA +1.5 (-150).
Figure enough gray area with the Colorado rookie’s first start. A Flyers team with its backs against the end boards will stay close to a road-weary Avalanche.
Over/Under
Philly’s puck-possession numbers in the last couple of games haven’t been bad, and Colorado’s defense ranks 27th in the league with 3.2 goals allowed per game.
The Avs offensive firepower plus Philadelphia’s penchant for allowing four or more goals of late plus a bit of a fade of the netminders … it all gets added to the Flyers being able to get at least a couple in this spot.
BACK THE OVER 6.5 (-110).
