Playing in a tough road environment at Matthew Knight Arena, the 9-3 Colorado Buffaloes are 7.5-point dogs in a rare Monday night matchup against the 8-6 Oregon Ducks. For me, that unfavorable line for Colorado is a bit large. This is definitely a winnable game for the Buffs, but what does scare me is that they haven’t played since Dec. 18. Needless to say, there will be rust to remove.

The Ducks, meanwhile, faced Utah on Saturday and erased a nine-point second half deficit in their eventual 79-66 win. Both Will Richardson and Jacob Young scored a season-high in points in that affair.

Looking at mutual opponents, Colorado holds the upper hand as the Buffs beat Stanford 80-76 back in November. Oregon played the Cardinal more recently on Dec. 12 and lost, 72-69.
