Collin Morikawa’s unbelievable drive and eagle on the 16th hole had everyone in awe

Wow.

Today’s final round of the 2020 PGA Championship at Harding Park in San Francisco has been unreal, with seven players at one point being tied for the lead during the final nine holes.

But then one of those players did something incredible and took what seems to be control of the tournament with a drive and a putt that will always be shown in major championship highlights.

Collin Morikawa, who is just 23 years old, stepped up to the drivable par-4 16th and drove the green with a beautiful 293-yard tee shot. That set up a 7-footer for eagle that he calmly sunk for a two-stroke lead.

And then this putt:

And just like that one of the game’s rising stars took control of a major championship that has been so tight all day long.
