You know it’s a big game when the celebrities come out. Both Fox Big Noon Kickoff and ESPN College GameDay will be in Ann Arbor to preview the massive non-conference clash between the Texas Longhorns and Michigan Wolverines.
Fox has announced visits from MLB Hall of Famer Derek Jeter and Longhorns “Minister of Culture” Matthew McConaughey.
Now, ESPN has announced who will serve as Saturday’s “guest picker.” Swimming GOAT Michael Phelps will fill the role. Phelps went to Michigan for four years in order to train under Wolverines swim coach Bob Bowman. While the 23 time Olympic gold medalist didn’t pursue a degree, he did become a huge Michigan fan.

Phelps has attended multiple Michigan games the past few years, including the 2022 Penn State game and the College Football Playoff that same year.
The US LBM AFCA Coaches’ Trophy will be in Ann Arbor on Saturday, and will be available for fans to see near the Big Noon Kickoff set.
