College football’s top performers in the SEC during Week 1

Jaxson Dart, Tre Harris led the way in the SEC’s top performers of Week 1.

The premier conference in college football over the last several years was in action during Week 1. The Florida Gators kicked it off on Thursday night as they faced off with the Utes in Utah. It didn’t go nearly as well as they hoped in year 2 under Billy Napier.

The SEC only featured four games where Power Five teams went head-to-head, including the Florida-Utah rematch. The Tennessee Vols took care of business against Virginia while South Carolina and LSU fell in their games against North Carolina and Florida State respectively.

As we take one more look back at the opening week of actions, College Sports Wire highlights the top performers from the Southeastern Conference.
