College Football News Preview 2020: Top Penn State Nittany Lions Players
Best Penn State Nittany Lions Offensive Player
TE Pat Freiermuth, Jr.
The 6-5, 259-pound All-Big Ten star caught 43 passes for 507 yard sand seven touchdowns, doing a great job of working his way open down the middle and using his big frame to be a matchup nightmare.
He caught three touchdown passes in the win over Michigan State, and gave Minnesota fits with seven catches for 101 yards. He’s a next-level starter who gets one more year in the Nittany Lion attack – expect him to be an even bigger part of the game plan.

Best Penn State Nittany Lions Defensive Player
LB Micah Parsons, Jr.
The super-recruit of a few years ago has more than played up to the hype. At 6-3 and 244 pounds, he’s got ideal outside linebacker size and the burst to live behind the line and make lots and lots of big plays.
The All-America talent led the team with 109 tackles with five sacks and 14 tackles for loss, and he broke up five passes and forced four fumbles. He’s an all over the field playmaker who came up with ten tackles or more in six of the last seven games, and expect him to get to the quarterback even more.
