The lines need an overhaul of starters, the secondary needs time to get the right pieces in place, the running back rotation needs to emerge, and Bo Nix has to be consistently better for the passing game. However, the team will get the time to gear it all up.

There’s no Oregon to start the season like last year. The schedule has a few interesting battles early on, but big start before going to Georgia in Week 6 is a must.

Set The Auburn Tigers Regular Season Win Total At … 8

Bet at BetMGM Win Total Line: 8.5

Alcorn State, North Carolina – played in Atlanta – at Ole Miss, Southern Miss, Kentucky. The Tar Heels, Rebels and Wildcats won’t be pushovers, but even with the rebuilding needing to be done, Auburn has to be 5-0 if it’s going to be good enough to challenge for the SEC title.

Texas A&M and LSU have to come to Jordan-Hare, and going to Mississippi State in the second half of the season shouldn’t be an issue.

Can the Tigers at least split the road games at Georgia and Alabama? There’s going to be one other slip-up along the way – watch out for Texas A&M – but the difference between a good season and a great one will likely come down to whether or not there are any brain-cramp losses.

Again, the talent is in place to hope for a double-digit win campaign, but expect this to be a stepping-stone season to a massive 2021.
