[lawrence-newsletter]Just over a week ago, College Football News released an early bowl projection article in which they looked ahead to the 2020 season. Wisconsin found themselves in a matchup with the defending national champion LSU Tigers.
Wisconsin landed in a New Year’s Day Bowl, but perhaps not the one most Badger fans would want to see them in. The projections saw the Badgers matching up with LSU in the VRBO Citrus Bowl. Since the Rose Bowl is a College Football Playoff game next season, Ohio State landed in Pasadena against Georgia in the predictions. The other CFP game saw Clemson taking on Alabama in the Sugar Bowl.
A New Year’s Day appearance in the Citrus Bowl is not the ceiling many Badger fans are hoping for, but it would be the end result of a solid regular season.
