College football: CBS Sports releases post-spring top 25 rankings

As the week draws to an end, so does our seemingly daily coverage of post-spring top 25 rankings. CBS Sports released its post-spring top 25 on Saturday, and we have that for you below. All of the rankings we’ve seen have Georgia on top while Michigan checks in No. 2, and CBS Sports agrees. From there, the rankings get much less predictable.

We have seen Notre Dame as high as No. 7 and as low as No. 13. Is one too high? Is one too low? Is one just right?

CBS Sports has its list from 1-25 and wrote the following about Notre Dame, who it ranked No. 9:

No Tommy Rees, no Tyler Buchner … no problem? Sam Hartman coming over from Wake Forest just might make the Fighting Irish a playoff contender. There is strength at every position group. Ohio State, USC, Pittsburgh and Wake Forest (Hartman reunion!) all come to South Bend, Indiana. The arrow continues to point up for Marcus Freeman, who went 9-2 after an unfortunate 0-2 start.

Below, we have listed their entire Top 25 rankings.
