Cole Beasley’s second tenure with the Buffalo Bills couldn’t happen without a bit of an apology tour. That took place on Wednesday.
Beasley, 33, was most recently with the team in 2021. Upon being released in March, he didn’t exactly have many nice things to say.
During the COVID-19 pandemic seasons, Beasley became one of the most outspoken NFL figures against safety measures regarding the virus. He was against vaccinations and other safety precautions.
That caused clashes with fans. Most of, if not all, took place on social media.
It continued once he was no longer a member of the Bills as Beasley took some shots at Buffalo. Among those was the receiver making remarks about not regretting the split and openly said he wanted to leave:

Beasley also stated that “things changed within the organization.”
There were few bridges not burned, but they’ve been reconstructed enough for another spell with the Bills (10-3).
Buffalo general manager Brandon Beane said that anything in the past is water under those bridges now.
“No one is perfect. Deep in his heart, Cole is a good person,” Beane said via video conference. “A healthy respect on both sides.”
From Beasley, he aimed most of his discussion toward the fan base… smartly. Beasley said he “loves” Bills Mafia and admitted he “didn’t handle everything like I wanted to.”
