Barry Trotz came to Long Island after winning the Stanley Cup in Washington. Al Arbour had two runs, coaching 1,500 games — yes, there was a one-game stint in 2007. Overall, Trotz is the 13th head coach for the Islanders since Arbour left in 1994.
