Bobo is in his first season as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at South Carolina.

Bobo came to South Carolina after serving as Colorado State’s head coach. Friend served as offensive coordinator and offensive line coach at Colorado State for Bobo.

Pruitt coached alongside Bobo at Georgia in 2014. Bobo was the Bulldogs’ offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, while Pruitt was defensive coordinator. Friend was running game coordinator and offensive line coach that season at Georgia.

“Mike is one of the best coaches in the country, great competitor. I loved working with him.” Jeremy Pruitt on Mike Bobo

“He hired Mike Bobo to be his offensive coordinator, a guy that I’ve worked with before that I feel like is one of the best offensive minds in all of football.” Jeremy Pruitt on Will Muschamp hiring Mike Bobo at South Carolina

“At the quarterback position, Mike Bobo has always done a fantastic job coaching the quarterbacks.” Jeremy Pruitt on Mike Bobo

If South Carolina were to make a change with Muschamp at head coach, Bobo’s relationship with Pruitt would come into consideration in joining Tennessee’s staff.
