Club America vs. Tigres: Where to watch, TV channel, streaming

Two of Liga MX’s biggest sides meet in an early-season showdown

Club América travels to face Tigres on Wednesday night in an early-season showdown between two of the Apertura favorites.

América is aiming for three straight titles after clinching the Clausura in May with a win over Cruz Azul in the final.

Las Aguilas started their title defense off with a surprise loss at Atlético San Luis, before rebounding to beat Querétaro on Friday.

That win came with a cost, though, as midfielder Alejandro Zendejas is out indefinitely with a reported broken leg suffered in the game.

Tigres, meanwhile, has started the new season with a win over Necaxa and a draw against Atlas as they look to improve under new manager Veljko Paunović.

These two sides met just two weeks ago in the Supercopa MX, with América winning 2-1 in Los Angeles.
