Clippers sign rookie Xavier Moon to two-way contract

Moon averaged 5.5 points, 1.7 assists and 1.5 rebounds in six appearances with the Clippers earlier this season.

Xavier Moon signed a two-way contract with the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday after a previous stint with the team earlier this season.

Moon, who went undrafted out of Morehead State in 2017, previously signed three 10-day contracts via the hardship exception in December and January. He averaged 5.5 points, 1.7 assists and 1.5 rebounds in six appearances with the Clippers.

The signing was possible after the team converted the two-way contract of Amir Coffey to a standard NBA deal. Moon will now have the opportunity to play with the Clippers for the duration of the season.
