Clippers at Hawks: Prediction, point spread, odds, over/under, betting picks

Our prediction and best bet for Tuesday’s Clippers-Hawks game.

The Los Angeles Clippers visit the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday night, and if you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spread, moneyline odds and over-under number, as well as the information you’ll need to make the smartest bet on BetMGM.

The game tips off at 7:30 p.m. ET and can be seen on NBATV.

The Clippers will be without three starters and two superstars. Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are both listed as out due to the NBA’s health and safety protocol, and Patrick Beverley is out due to right knee soreness.

The Hawks have released a lengthy injury report: Kris Dunn and Bojan Bogdanovic are out, Clint Capela (right hand soreness), Cam Reddish (right Achilles tightness) and Trae Young (back spasms) are questionable, while Danilo Gallinari is probable (ankle sprain).

The lines, courtesy of BetMGM

  • Point spread: Hawks -4.5
  • Money line: Hawks -190 / Clippers +155
  • Over-under: 221.5

Advice and prediction

If the trio to Trae Young, Clint Capela and Cam Reddish are available on Tuesday, I’d hammer Hawks -4.5, but if Young sits, that line suddenly doesn’t look so great.

Both Young and Capela were held out of Atlanta’s game on Sunday against the Bucks, suggesting they could be rested and good to go against the Clippers, but I’d advise waiting until closer to gametime to be sure. The Clippers missing their stars is already priced into the line, so you shouldn’t be missing out by waiting. We’re giving this game a tentative Hawks -4.5 endorsement.

Prediction: Hawks 118, Clippers 104
