Cleveland reliever Emmanuel Clase throws an absurd 100 mph cutter

WHOA!

It’s time for you all to get to know the name Emmanuel Clase, in case you’re not a Cleveland fan.

The reliever who was part of the Texas Rangers’ Cory Kluber trade in 2019 hasn’t allowed an earned run in his six appearances and already has three saves under his belt in 2021. And that’s partially because of the gas he’s throwing.

We’ve seen some other absurd pitches this season — a 100 MPH sinker from the Cardinals’ Jordan Hicks, Zack Greinke’s 51 MPH eephus, and now we have to show you Clase’s 100 MPH cutter that looks positively unhittable.

That’s right, a triple-digit CUTTER. What do you do with this?

He also throws a speedy fastball:

Wow!
