Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence will miss game vs. Notre Dame

After testing positive for COVID-19, Clemson quarterback will miss the Tigers’ big matchup with Notre Dame

The top prospect in the 2021 NFL draft class will miss at least one more game after testing positive for COVID-19.

Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence missed Saturday’s comeback win over Boston College, and Tigers head coach Dabo Swinney confirmed after the game that his star player will also miss their next contest against Notre Dame.

Lawrence is widely regarded as the can’t-miss No. 1 overall pick in next year’s draft, but he’ll be missing one of his team’s biggest matchups of the season.
