After a great defensive stop set up the Clemson offense with great field position, Klubnik and the Tigers delivered, extending their lead to 10-0.
Following two successful Phil Mafah touches that resulted in 17 yards, freshman wide receiver Tyler Brown made his presence known. Brown made a beautiful diving catch across the middle for 28 yards.
The great play from Brown set up a red zone score for the Tigers. Cade Klubnik called his own number to cap off the drive, punching in a one-yard touchdown run after a defensive holding set the Tigers up on the one.
It has been a picture-perfect start for an impressive-looking Clemson team.
