Cincinnati Bengals announce attendance plans for October

The state of Ohio will allow 6,000 people to attend Bengals home games in October.

The Cincinnati Bengals will have some fans at their games in October, the team announced Saturday.

The state of Ohio has granted the team a variance and 6,000 will be allowed to attend their games  Oct. 4 against the Jacksonville Jaguars and Oct. 25 against the rival Cleveland Browns.

Per the statement:

Today, the State of Ohio announced that it will grant a variance to the Cincinnati Bengals to host 6000 fans at the Oct. 4 home game against the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Oct. 25 home game against the Cleveland Browns.

No further variances have been issued for other games, including the Bengals Sept. 13 home game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Bengals are thrilled with the prospect of having fans at our home games and will reach out shortly to Season Ticket Members and fans with more specifics.

Have to wonder how many fans are willing to take the risk of attending in the face of the coronavirus pandemic to watch a Jaguars-Bengals game.
