Former Clemson football star Christian Wilkins put together a career year for the Miami Dolphins in 2023.
One of the NFL’s most elite defensive tackles, the 6-foot-4, 310-pound Wilkins started all 17 games for the Dolphins a season ago and recorded 65 tackles (38 solo) and 10 tackles for loss while posting career-highs in sacks (9.0) and quarterback hurries (61).
He parlayed that into a new four-year, $110 million free agent contract with the Las Vegas Raiders this past March.
While the NFL continues to unveil its full Top 100 Players list (voted on by the players themselves), Wilkins was voted No. 58 overall earlier this week. It’s a significant leap from where Wilkins was on the NFL’s 2023 Top 100 list — 23 spots up from No. 81.
Wilkins will be entering his sixth NFL season in 2024. He has recorded 355 total tackles (204 solo), 43 tackles for loss, 20.5 sacks and four forced fumbles in five seasons, spanning 81 games and 77 starts.
The Dolphins drafted Wilkins in the first round in 2019 with the No. 13 overall pick. In four years at Clemson, Wilkins was credited with 250 tackles, 41 tackles for loss, 16 sacks, 16 pass breakups, and three forced fumbles in 59 games (45 starts). Wilkins was a member of Clemson’s 2016 and 2018 national championship teams.
