Tennessee’s Christian Moore appeared as a pinch hitter and played in left field for Team USA in the contest. He went 1-for-2, recording one double, one RBI and one run versus Chinese Taipei.
Team USA recorded 17 hits in Monday’s win.
Team USA will next play Chinese Taipei again on Tuesday. First pitch is slated for 6 p.m. EDT at Segra Stadium in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
