On Saturday, the first ever Wolverine was enshrined in Springfield, as former Michigan basketball and NBA star/coach Rudy Tomjanovich was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame. But next year at this time, the maize and blue will be putting in a second.
On Sunday, it was announced that after five times on the ballot, former Fab Five centerpiece and longtime NBA superstar Chris Webber is joining Tomjanovich and the leagues of other elite basketball players through time, as he was officially voted into the hall of fame. As noted, he will be the second Wolverine to have earned such an honor.

Webber spent two years in Ann Arbor and made two national championship games during his Wolverines tenure. He departed early for the NBA draft where he was selected first overall by the Orlando Magic, but his rights went to the Golden State Warriors. Where he really made a name for himself in the pro-ranks was with the Sacramento Kings.
He spent 15 years in the pros and went on to be a commentator on TNT, but was just announced to have parted ways with the network just before the start of the NBA playoffs.
