Chris Paul said his daughter was bullied at school: ‘Your daddy ain’t never gonna win no championship’

This is so CRUEL.

Phoenix Suns guard Chris Paul is one of the winningest players in the NBA.

In fact, per Stathead, LeBron James is the only active player who has won more games than Paul has thus far during his career. But while he earned a trip to the NBA Finals in 2021, he is one of the best players who has not yet won a championship ring.

Paul, a 12-time All-Star who has led the league in assists five times and steals six times, is already 38 years old. Unfortunately, he is constantly reminded he only has so much time left to reach that ambitious goal.

According to CP3, however, he isn’t the only one who is feeling the pressure. Here is what he said about how it impacts his family (via The Pivot Podcast):

“It’s tough on me but I think it’s probably even harder for the people around me, right? Especially my wife … and my kids. My daughter is the sweetest soul you will ever meet in your life, right? But she is at that age now where in school, kids talk crazy to her. She had a little boy at school that said some reckless stuff to her like: ‘Your daddy ain’t never gonna win no championship’ right? My baby is special. She will hold it together there but when she got in the car, she called and she was upset. I had to have that conversation with her and talk to her and say some people talk and some people do.”

That is absolutely BRUTAL.

CP3’s daughter shouldn’t have to hear that sort of nonsense, especially when discussing someone who is as accomplished as her father.

This isn’t the first time that CP3 has accused fans of not treating his family with the respect and decency that they deserve. He said that Mavericks fans harassed his family members last postseason. It’s totally unfair.
