Chip Trayanum is doubtful on Kentucky’s Wednesday availability report

Kentucky running back Chip Trayanum is listed as doubtful versus Ole Miss on Saturday.

On each Wednesday before gameday, SEC teams are required to publish an availability report, listing any players with injuries, and their chances of playing. They can be out, doubtful, questionable, or probable.

Kentucky released their availability report for the week, and the names on it are mostly expected. The one notable entry is running back Chip Trayanum, who is listed as doubtful, despite being cleared to return earlier this week.

Trayanum broke his hand during the summer, and was expected to miss the first few games of the season. However, he has now missed four games, and could miss a fifth. It’s a disappointing turn of events for a player with big expectations after transferring from Ohio State.

The other running backs on the team have done a great job in his absence, but Trayanum would certainly help out. Fans will want to keep an eye on subsequent updates to the Wildcats availability report leading up to the game on Saturday.
