Kansas City Chiefs rookie WR Skyy Moore got his first taste of NFL action in preseason Week 1, but it was lacking one thing in particular.
Moore caught all three passes that came his way for 23 yards, including a sweet toe-tapping grab on the sideline. His debut went about as well as you could possibly expect.
“The last few days (have) been good,” Moore told reporters on Tuesday. “First of all, it was great to get that under my belt and play my first pro game. (The) last couple of days I’ve just been trying to clean up the things that I need to clean up so I can have a better performance next game.”
On the road in Chicago, Moore didn’t have the roaring crowd of Arrowhead Stadium at his back. As he works toward improvement in training camp, he also is looking forward to stepping onto the field at his new home stadium for the first time. He’s heard that Chiefs fans have a reputation for being noisy and that the stadium has one of the NFL’s best atmospheres.
“I’m anticipating it being electric because that’s what everyone around here just talks about,” Moore said. “They say Arrowhead is the best stadium in the league. And I’m going to take their word for it until I see otherwise.”
Hopefully, Arrowhead Stadium will live up to its reputation against the Washington Commanders in preseason Week 2.
