Chiefs WR JuJu Smith-Schuster, RT Andrew Wylie suffer injuries vs. Jaguars

The #Chiefs are going through some attrition during their Week 10 game vs. the #Jaguars.

The Kansas City Chiefs are going through some attrition on the offensive side of the ball. Both WR JuJu Smith-Schuster and RT Andrew Wylie are currently out of the game dealing with injuries.

Smith-Schuster is in the NFL’s concussion protocol and has been ruled out after a big hit from Jaguars S Andre Cisco. The officials originally threw a flag on the play for a hit on a defenseless player, but they picked up the flag and didn’t call a penalty.

Wylie suffered an elbow injury and has been ruled questionable to return. Prince Tega Wanogho has been filling in at right tackle in his absence.

In addition to Smith-Schuster and Wylie, WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling was being evaluated for an injury on the sideline after another questionable hit from Cisco. He was spotted in the blue injury tent. It’s unclear what type of injury he’s currently dealing with at this time.

If Valdes-Scantling is unable to return, the wide receiver unit is down to just three players — Kadarius Toney, Justin Watson and Skyy Moore. Mecole Hardman, of course, is inactive with an abdomen injury.
