The Kansas City Chiefs got off to a rough start in their Week 4 game against the Los Angeles Chargers, and it appears things may have just gotten worse.
Wide receiver Rashee Rice took a cart to the locker room in the first quarter after sustaining a knee injury.
When Rice attempted to recover a fumble after Chargers defensive back Kristian Fulton, he tweaked his leg and was subsequently listed as questionable before his status was updated to out.
Though the extent of Rice’s injury hasn’t yet been announced, Kansas City’s offense will need wide receivers Xavier Worthy, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Mecole Hardman, and Justin Watson to step up in his absence.

For now, the Chiefs trail Los Angeles by 10 points in the second quarter, and have yet to get into a rhythm against the Chargers’ outstanding defense.
Stay tuned to see how Andy Reid adjusts his offense as the game progresses.
