The Kansas City Chiefs are set to sign an intriguing free agent at the cornerback position.
According to his agency, Synergy Sports International, former Jacksonville Jaguars, Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers CB Luqman “Luq” Barcoo is to sign with the Chiefs.
The FBS co-interception leader in the 2019 college football season, Barcoo actually had a pre-draft virtual meeting with the Chiefs in 2020. He ultimately signed on with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent and like many who entered the NFL during the COVID-altered year, he didn’t get a fair shake to catch on with the team.
