The unparalleled swagger and confidence from Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce have helped make him a star in the NFL.
The latest attention-grabbing move made by the All-Pro pass-catcher has effectively caught the eye of his many on social media. Kelce started this week looking a little different, walking into training camp at Missouri Western State University without his recognizable facial hair.
A week ago he was celebrating “Mustache Mondays” after having shaved his beard down to a mustache. Only after the Chiefs’ preseason victory over the San Francisco 49ers, Kelce decided to complete the deed and go with the shaved face look.
Kelce’s lack of facial hair quickly caught the attention of reporters at camp. The 31-year-old tight end can be heard saying, “I forgot to put it on,” as he walked past spectators Monday morning.

The surprising reveal didn’t get a positive reaction as many preferred his bearded appearance.

Travis Kelce is a good reminder/cautionary tale to never, ever shave your beard.

In response to the reactions on social media, Kelce decided to draw a fake beard over one of his new photos to give his fans back a sense of normalcy. The hilarious photo was trending late Monday night but still got the seal of approval from girlfriend Kayla Nicole.
