Chiefs rival Chargers featured on ‘Hard Knocks: Los Angeles’ beginning tonight

What will we learn about the Los Angeles Chargers on “Hard Knocks: Los Angeles”

An AFC West rival of the Kansas City Chiefs is set to be one of two teams featured in this year’s iteration of Hard Knocks. The Los Angeles Chargers will join the Los Angeles Rams for “Hard Knocks: Los Angeles” bringing us an inside look at training camp for both teams.

The Chiefs have won the AFC West division in each of the last four seasons, and as reigning Super Bowl champions everyone wants to take them down. The Chargers have often been favored within the AFC West but have failed to live up to expectations. It’ll be interesting to see if they address the challenge posed by Kansas City during the course of the series. Right now, everyone in the AFC West is chasing the Chiefs.

We’ll also get an inside look at the Chargers’ preparations and training amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. There will be some insight into the ongoing quarterback battle featuring journeyman Tyrod Taylor and rookie Justin Herbert. We’ll get to see how the rookies and free agents are adjusting to life without OTAs and minicamp.

Things will be a little different in the series this year with no preseason games to cover. There will be some of the typical high jinks that Hard Knocks is known for as well.
