Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes already back to training after Super Bowl LVII victory

#Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes is already back to training for the 2023 NFL season, not two weeks removed from the team’s Super Bowl LVII victory.

No rest for the champions.

It hasn’t even been two weeks since the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl LVII victory over the Philadelphia Eagles, but that won’t stop QB Patrick Mahomes from getting some work in. Mahomes is already back at work with his personal trainer, getting prepared for the 2023 NFL season. He took some time off with the family for Sterling Mahomes’ birthday, but he was right back at it afterward.

On Tuesday, Mahomes was out in Fort Worth, Texas at the APEC training facilities working with Bobby Stroupe. He posted some videos to his Instagram story of Mahomes doing exercises on sand. Our friends at Arrowhead Live captured a screenshot of one.

Mahomes also shared some photos on his Instagram story of him working out at APEC. He seemed to be doing some balance exercises and different things to work on his recently injured ankle, among other things.

On Wednesday morning, Stroupe shared the following set of photos from the workout on Twitter set to Akira The Don’s “There Must Be Discipline.”

There are certainly no signs of complacency from Mahomes after the latest Super Bowl win. That looks like a man on a mission to come back faster, better and stronger for the 2023 NFL season. Rest assured that the Chiefs Kingdom can’t wait to see what he has in store for them.
