Chiefs or Buccaneers in Super Bowl LV? Pros & cons on both for Bills fans

Pros and cons for Buffalo Bills fans in rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Super Bowl LV,

Super Bowl LV has arrived. It’s going to be an awkward watch for Buffalo Bills fans. Who do you root for?

The Chiefs just beat the Bills to keep them out of the big game… can we really stomach doing such a thing? And c’mon, Tom Brady is on the other side of the field… is it ever possible to root for the guy?

Well let’s have some fun with the tough decision at least, shall we?

Here are pros and cons list for rooting for both teams for Bills fans:

Kansas City Chiefs

Pros

  • Not Tom Brady.
  • They won, but at least the Bills lost to the champs?
  • Would kind of add to the Bills-Chiefs AFC rivalry, right?
  • Patrick Mahomes, Andy Reid likable?
  • Tyreek Hill gave Justin Zimmer a nice shoutout this week.
  • Reigning Champs vs. team they beat in conference championship an appealing season-opening game on Thursday Night Football… could be Chiefs-Bills in 2021.
  • Eric Bieniemy being overlooked in head coaching searches, good guy to root for.
  • An old AFL team like the Bills.
  • Not playing in their home stadium.

Cons

  • Chiefs fans talking smack post beating the Bills.
  • Sammy Watkins trolling Bills fans.
  • Patrick Mahomes would have two more rings than Josh Allen.
  • That shoving match with Allen, Jon Feliciano and Dion Dawkins late in the AFC title game involving Chiefs defender Alex Okafor.
  • Claims of Chiefs players “waving” to the Bills when they left the field in AFC Championship.
  • Having to hear of the “draft day trade” between the Bills and Chiefs which landed them Mahomes.
  • Le’Veon Bell picked the Chiefs over the Bills earlier this season.
  • Travis Kelce beat up the Bills this year… twice.
  • Mahomes does not take condiments serious (ketchup on steak).

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Pros

  • Not the team that kept the Bills out of the playoffs and beat them twice in 2020.
  • Brady your GOAT? Could be his last Super Bowl, enjoy history.
  • Rob Gronkowski for being a Buffalo native.
  • LeSean McCoy will get another ring. Always praised Buffalo after leaving and also might retire.
  • Technically, they are the underdog by three points, according to BetMGM.
  • ‘The Patriot way’ takes another hit in the Brady-Bill Belichick debate.
  • Bruce Arians gets first ring as head coach.
  • They had a massive playoff drought of their own, dating back to 2007 before this season.
  • Opinion: Their uniforms look better.

Cons

  • Tom Brady is their quarterback and will add to his resume.
  • Antonio Brown is their wide receiver.
  • Gronkowski for his cheap shot on Tre’Davious White.
  • Tom Brady being the first QB to win Super Bowl in home stadium… which in itself seems like an unusual advantage.
  • Some in New England will be happy if Brady wins again.
  • That ship thing in their stadium.
