What is that, you may ask?
Well, Allen has never been to the Super Bowl. He has unfortunately been beaten multiple times in the postseason. In total, five times.
But the first four times had something in common: Every team went on the lose its next game … until now.
The Chiefs take on the 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday. Prior to that, they beat the Bills and then the Ravens in the AFC Championship Game. That’s the first time a team won a playoff game after beating Allen.
The four teams who fell to the “curse” were:
