Chicago Bears’ free agency moves put Caleb Williams in a good position

The Bears are definitely making aggressive moves to boost their roster. Caleb Williams has to like that.

The Dan Patrick Show recently aired a segment which dealt with the Chicago Bears’ moves in NFL free agency. These moves have improved the Bears’ roster and therefore put Caleb Williams in a position to succeed.

Consider one example. The Bears recently signed safety Kevin Byard. Bears Wire wrote this about Byard:

“The Chicago Bears got a headstart on the free agency festivities on Sunday when they agreed to a two-year deal with former All-Pro safety Kevin Byard worth $15 million. Byard is a nine-year veteran who spent the majority of his career with the Tennessee Titans. He burst onto the scene during his second season in 2017, when he produced eight interceptions and earned his first of two All-Pro honors.

“Byard has been considered one of the better safeties in the NFL over the last 6-7 years. His 28 interceptions are tied for ninth-most among active defensive backs.”

The Bears are making an attempt to upgrade their roster. Caleb Williams has to like that.
