The Jacksonville Jaguars selected Colorado receiver Laviska Shenault Jr. with the No. 42 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
Heading into Day 2 of the draft receiver was believed to be a priority because the team went all defense in Round 1 by taking C.J. Henderson and K’Lavon Chaisson. While the Jags did add tight end Tyler Eifert, many knew Gardner Minshew II would need more around him and Shenault gives him a versatile weapon that has been used in the slot, on the outside, and out of the backfield.
