According to multiple reports, the Chargers are signing wide receiver Jalen Reagor.
NFL Insider Jordan Schultz said that Reagor will start on the practice squad with the likelihood that he will eventually get elevated to the active roster.
Reagor’s professional career started with the Eagles, who selected him in the first round of the 2020 NFL draft.
In his rookie season, Reagor recorded 31 catches for 396 yards and a touchdown. He tallied 57 catches for 299 yards and two scores in Year 2.
Reagor was traded to the Vikings in 2022. Despite the fresh start, he still failed to live up to his first-round billing, amassing just eight catches for 107 yards.
Minnesota released Reagor last year, and the Patriots eventually signed him. He posted seven catches for 138 yards. After signing a one-year, $1.3 million extension with New England in March, Reagor was released on Sept. 18.
