Chargers activate WR Keenan Allen off COVID-19 list

The Chargers will be getting a key player back just in time for their Thursday night matchup against the Chiefs.

The Chargers will be getting a key player back for the Thursday night matchup against the Chiefs, as the team announced it has activated Keenan Allen off the COVID-19 list.

Allen tested positive following Los Angeles’ victory over the Bengals. He did not play this past Sunday against the Giants as a result. Instead, the team relied on the trio of Mike Williams, Jalen Guyton and rookie Josh Palmer.

This season, Allen has 86 catches for 929 yards and four touchdowns on 124 targets. In Week 3 against the Chiefs, he posted eight receptions for 50 yards and a score.

Rashawn Slater and Scott Quessenberry are the Chargers players who are currently on the COVID-19 list.
