In 2019, general manager Tom Telesco placed more of an emphasis on the defensive side of the football with the picks of defensive tackles Jerry Tillery and Cortez Broughton, safety Nasir Adderley and linebackers Drue Tranquill and Emeke Egbule. The only offensive players were offensive tackle Trey Pipkins and quarterback Easton Stick.
2020 NFL draft needs
Going into the 2020 NFL Draft, the primary emphasis should be finding a quarterback of the future, adding an offensive tackle, a speedy wide receiver and a play-making linebacker. Other needs to address include drafting an outside cornerback, nose tackle and running back for depth.
