Interested in the XFL?
Maybe Chad Johnson will help in that regard. The former Cincinnati Bengals wideout is planning his long-awaited football comeback with the new league.
As a kicker.
The man formerly known as OchoCinco’s infatuation with soccer is well known and now he’s taking it a step further by using his leg to get back on a football field.
Johnson’s tryout is upcoming and as an aside, XFL rules differ from the NFL in that there are no extra points and kickoffs are set close enough that there don’t figure to be touchbacks.
Now 42, Johnson says he hopes a good performance could put him back on the NFL’s radar:
The opportunity to kick in the XFL has presented itself, i must tryout Monday in Houston, I’m excited as hell & I’m sure all will go well 🙏🏿

Pretty far fetched but imagine me being consistent during an XFL season & getting a chance at a 53 man roster in the NFL, even i don’t make it just being able to compete for a spot at a entirely different position will be so riveting 🙂
