It’s always interesting when Chad Johnson makes an appearance around the Cincinnati Bengals or at least has something to say given he’s something of an official ambassador for the team. That and…he’s just Chad.
But this time is especially interesting with the team’s big jersey reveal on the way this month and the team announcing its Ring of Honor.
For those familiar with Chad’s social-media happenings, he recently chronicled a flight to Cincinnati and a visit to Paul Brown Stadium.
No word on those new jerseys, but one has to think the timing isn’t a coincidence.
Publicly, what Chad shared was meeting with guys like coach Zac Taylor and doing the important stuff — like leaving Joe Burrow some McDonald’s:

This is a callback to early March when Chad offered to put the star quarterback on his diet and Burrow said no thanks. Chad doesn’t forget, apparently.
Some of the other happenings:

We’ll see what else stems from Chad’s visit, but the Ring of Honor is now official and we’re not ruling out the possibility it was related to both that and new jerseys.
