Celtics vs. Warriors: Preview, lineups, broadcast info, rookie watch, previous result, start time on Feb. 2

After two days off, the Golden State Warriors will welcome the Boston Celtics to Chase Center on Tuesday. Here’s how to watch.

After a rare two days off, the Golden State Warriors will return to Chase Center to host the Boston Celtics. While both teams are each two games over .500 on the young season, their rotations will look different on Tuesday night in the Bay Area. The Celtics and Warriors will be without key pieces for the cross-conference showdown.

For the Celtics, top-flight defensive guard Marcus Smart has been ruled out for the game after suffering a grade one calf sprain against the Los Angeles Lakers. While Boston will be missing a piece of the backcourt, Golden State will have a limited frontcourt for the matchup. Rookie James Wiseman will be sidelined for at least the next 7-10 days before he will be reevaluated for a sprained wrist injury.

Without Wiseman, Kevon Looney will be the only healthy traditional center listed on Golden State’s depth chart.

While Brad Stevens will be tasked with slowing down Steph Curry without Smart, the Warriors will likely have their hands full with the tandem of Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum. Both Brown and Tatum are averaging over 26 points and five rebounds per game on the season.

Before the Warriors welcome the Celtics to San Francisco, here is how to watch or stream the contest and everything else you need to know about the matchup.
