Celtics snap 3-game losing streak with 118 – 112 home win vs. Pacers

The Celtics got back in the win column with a season-high performance from Kemba Walker.

The Boston Celtics snapped a three-game losing streak and improved to 16 wins and 17 losses with a 118 – 112 victory over the Indiana Pacers at TD Garden Friday night.

It started as many of the Celtics recent games had, with low-energy play and a deep deficit, Boston trailing by as much as 14 points early on in the first quarter. But the Celtics dug deep and pulled out the win behind veteran starting point guard Kemba Walker’s best game of the season to date. The UConn product led all scorers with 32 points and 6 assists on an efficient 10-of-19 night from the floor, including 4-of-10 from deep and 8-of-8 from the line.

All-Star forward Jaylen Brown added 15 points, 7 boards and 5 assists, and Boston got plenty of help off the bench with reserve center Robert Williams III adding 14 points, 11 rebounds and 3 blocked shots, veteran guard Jeff Teague 14 points as well.
