Celtics at Nuggets: Boston gets bent by Denver, loses 123-111

Let’s take a look at some of the best plays captured in images from the Celtics’ 37th game of their 2022-23 campaign.

The Boston Celtics found themselves in a familiar situation against the Denver Nuggets early in their tilt at Ball Arena against the Western Conference’s top team with nary a shot seeming to go in early in the contest. Things did not get especially better for Boston after the first quarter in a contest they never led by more than 3 points, and at no time after the first frame.

Shooting just 27.3% from beyond the arc on a night the Nuggets shot 56.7% from 3 and 57% overall, the 123-111 loss had to endure a 35-minute gap in play after big man Robert Williams III (8 points, 6 rebounds) bent the rim. Solid outings from Jaylen Brown (30 points, 8 boards), Jayson Tatum (25 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists), and Derrick White (13 points) kept the game from being a route.

Let’s take a look at some of the best plays captured in images from the Celtics’ 37th game of their 2022-23 campaign.
