Celtics at Hornets: Boston outlasts early Charlotte push, win 112-103

Some of the best plays captured in images from the Celtics’ third preseason game of their 2022-23 campaign.

The Boston Celtics got funky in their third exhibition game of the 2022-23 preseason, playing some unusual lineups against the team they obliterated in their first tilt of their four-game preseason slate, the Charlotte Hornets.

And while there were plenty of moments of deep rotation players struggling to stay above water as the Hornets took an early lead, Boston’s second- and third-string players ground out a 112-103 win on the road in North Carolina. Solid games from star wing Jaylen Brown (19 points, 5 rebounds), reserve shooting guard Derrick White (18 points, 6 assists), and camp initee forward Justin Jackson off of the bench (16 points, 4 rebounds) made the difference for the Celtics, who now improve to 2-1 in preseason play thus far.

Let’s take a look at some of the best plays captured in images from the Celtics’ third of four preseason games of their 2022-23 campaign.
