It’s rare air when an offensive guard gets as much attention as Quenton Nelson did at Notre Dame but he prooved worth it in helping man the nation’s best offensive line in 2017.
Nelson has done something next to impossible in making guard play in football cool. How many other guards can you name who you’d sit and watch highlight tapes of? NFL fans are well aware of it but Notre Dame fans were hip to Nelson burying people for years before the rest of the nation fell in love.

Nelson wound up getting drafted higher than any offensive guard was ever taken in the NFL Draft and has since turned in two All-Pro seasons for the Indianapolis Colts.
