Down by seven with under a minute to go, the 49ers knew it would come down to an onside kick attempt. The Cowboys know all too well that games can change on even that unlikeliest of plays.

But rookie wideout CeeDee Lamb made sure Dallas would not find itself on the losing end of a watermelon miracle. He not only scooped up the awkwardly bouncing kickoff, but he also took off with it.

When he was done running, he found himself standing in the end zone nearly fifty yards later, sealing the second consecutive win for the Cowboys.

It was the Cowboys’ first kickoff return for a touchdown since 2008. And while the 49ers were able to successfully convert a last-second Hail Mary score as time expired, it was Lamb’s electrifying play that really ended the game.
