CB Marco Wilson’s injury appears to be minor

Wilson exited the game late with an injury. He said after the game it was something minor and there are “no problems.”

The Arizona Cardinals have struggled to be healthy at the cornerback position and, in the final minutes of their 44-21 Week 1 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, starting cornerback Marco Wilson exited the game with an injury, seemingly something to do with one of his legs.

It does not appear to be anything serious.

Wilson was asked about it after the game.

“That was something minor, I’ll be alright,” he said postgame. “No problems.”

That is good news.

Wilson broke up two passes, forced a fumble and had five tackles in the loss.

He did not have a limp when he was walking in the locker room.

We will see whether his practice reps are impacted at all once Wednesday comes around and the team releases its first injury report of Week 2.
