CB Daryl Worley says he is back with Raiders

The Raiders are a bit banged up in the secondary at the moment. The latest injury being to cornerback Damon Arnette, who suffered his second concussion in as many weeks. In response, it appears the Raiders are bringing back a familiar face.

Daryl Worley, who spent the 2018 and 2019 seasons with the Raiders, posted on his Instagram that he is a Raider once again.

“Sorry guys, GPS took me on a crazy route from Oakland to Vegas, but WE BYKE,” Worley said on Instagram with his location as “Las Vegas Raiders Headquarters”

That crazy route Worley took had him sign with the Cowboys last offseason, appearing in seven games in Dallas before being cut and signing onto the Bills practice squad on November 3. He was activated for the Bills’ week ten game against the Cardinals, seeing 15 snaps on defense.

Worley started 24 games in 25 appearances with the Raiders over the previous two seasons. In that time he had two interceptions and 15 pass breakups. He was not brought back after last season and the team signed Prince Amukamara and drafted Damon Arnette.

Amukamara didn’t make the team and Arnette was named the starter but has been unable to stay healthy.
