Cleveland Cavaliers rookie Evan Mobley has been placed into the NBA’s health and safety protocols and will not be available to play on Saturday versus the Milwaukee Bucks, the team announced.
Mobley becomes the second player on the Cavaliers added to the health and safety protocols, joining second-year forward Isaac Okoro. He is the latest player around the NBA to join the list as at least 60 others have been added in December alone.
Players entered into the health and safety protocols are required to miss a minimum of 10 days in isolation. However, they can be cleared to play sooner if they return two consecutive negative PCR tests taken at least 24 hours apart.

Mobley, who was named the Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month for October and November, is averaging 13.8 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.8 blocked shots in 25 games. He leads the rookie class in rebounding and blocks while he is fifth in scoring.
