Alabama’s Megan Abrams hits a tip-in at the buzzer to shock the Bulldogs on the road in Starkville.
The Crimson Tide attempted a total of 53 shots and made 23 of them for a field goal percentage of 43.4 percent. Alabama also made 11/15 free throws for 73.3 percent percentage. Alabama also made 9 of 14 three pointers.
Alabama was led by Jasmine Walker who had 20 points, 4 rebounds and 1 assist. Alabama’s Jordan Lewis recored 17 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists.
Mississippi State went 26/56 for 46.4 percent and also made 11/16 free throws for 68.8 percent.
Alabama improves to 16-11 (6-8 in the SEC) while the Bulldogs drop to 23-5 (11-3 in the SEC).
Alabama will travel to College Station, Texas to take on No. 16 Texas A&M on Thursday at 6:00 PM CT.
